Editors* In looking over the last number of the Gazette, I found a communication from our friend, Mr. L. P. Spiers, rcommending Dr. R. II. Worthington’s Cholera Mixture to the public, for the cure of diarrhcea, dysentery, and other kindred diseases Having experience in my own case, the happy effects of its use, as well as other members of my family, I can safely say that I regard it superior to any remedy we have ever used, in an experience of twenty years. I would, therefore, recommend it to every family as an in valuable remedy, and every individual to procure a bottle and keep it by them in these times of cholera. Murfreesboro,’ Aug. 30th, 1854. R. R. PARKER This is to certify that I have used Dr. R. II. Worthington’s Cholera medicine in my family for the last four or five weeks, in several cases of Bowel Complaint, so common in our vicinity, with invariable success. One of the cases was that of a negro child, some four or five months old, who was so emaciated by the effects of the disease, that its life was nearly despaired of, when my wife happened to think that she would try the Cholera Medicine, and did so with complete success in less than forty-eight hours.—I am through!} of opinion that no family should be without so fine a medicine Given under my hand, this 3rd day of October 1854. A. W. DARDEN. BALDWIN CARDWELL & CO. Castle Hill, 15th Dec 185*. C^L. WM. B. Stoughton—Dear Sir: I take pleasure in recording here my impression of the performance of your Plow (Rich’s Iron earn pa tent) at Cobham to-day. The wo : was far more thorough and complete than that of any plow I ever saw in operation before. The furrow o- pened by it was very generally 13 inches deep and about 20 inches wide, in hard, close land, and most effectually and perfectly cleaned out, none of the sod earth falling back into it. The trial of the plow was witnessed by many of my neighbors, among whom I will mention Messrs. Frank R. Nelson, J. II Genett, J. H. Lewis, C. B. Hopkins, Thomas Watson, of Louisa, &•;.. ail practical men and most excellent judges of agricultural implements ; and there was but one opinion among them as to the superiority and unexceptionable performance of your plow. Wishing you equal success elsewhere in ma king this valuable implement favorably known to our agricultural brethren, I remain yours truly, WILLIAM C RIVES. Richmond, Va., Feb. 29, 1856. Ginos 18. Murfresboro’ N C. Dr. R. H. Worthington. It affords us pleasure to say that we have used yourCholera Diarrhcea medicine for the last twelve months, and have found it invariably successful, in relieving speedily the cases in which we have had occasion to use it. We entertain a high ap preciation of its value, and have no hesitation in expressing the opinion that it will prove to be a valuable family medicine. RICHARD G. COWPER. B. F. SPIERS. Sold by P. F.
